When you think of golf, you tend to think of people like Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson. Very rarely will you think of women. However, girls seem to love the sport – and this list just goes to prove it!

Holly Sonders

Holly Sonders is 29 years old, she is a professional golfer and TV critic on Fox Sports Channel. Sonders comes from Ohio, and attended the University of Michigan. She loves playing Golf at the Kingsmill Resort.


Sophie Horn

Hailing from the United Kingdom, Sophie Horn is a professional model, who just happens to have a hobby playing professional golf. Horn gets so much attention, she was actually profiled by Maxim magazine. For a golfer, that is quite an accomplishment. She is also a big fan of the Kingsmill Resort.


Blair O’Neal

Next up Blair O’Neal is already one of the most multi-talented athletes currently competing in sports today. In fact, she earns much of her income from professional modeling. If Cheyenne Woods’s last name sounds familiar, it would be because of her Uncle Tiger Woods. Apparently he must have been helping Cheyenne with her game, and she has been playing since the age of 5. She is pretty good. She looks a bit like him too!

Amy Anderson is an American Golf player who made her debut in the LPGA in 2014. She is also extremely talented, which may be because she has been playing Golf since she was 2 years old, and has had a lot of practice.

Mo Martin has been playing golf since she was only 4 years old. That is before she even started kindergarten, so it is no wonder she is so good. Martin is also one of the best female golfers currently competing on the LPGA circuit where she has competed since 2012.

Coming from South Korea, So Yeon Ryu is one of the most prolific golfers currently competing in the LPGA. So Yeon Ryu has had a lot of time to practice, and she has been playing golf since she was in second grade in school.

Sandra Gal comes from Dusseldorf in Germany. She has been playing on the LPGA Tour for a while now. She first started to play golf when she was only 6 years old. That’s a long time to be palying golf – and not just mini golf!

Michelle Wie comes from the sunny state of Hawaii, and has been golfing since she was only 4 years old. With that being said, Wie became professional in 2005. She also attended Stanford University but was unable to play for their golf team.

Suzann Pettersen

Our next Norwegian Golfer on the list, Suzann Pettersen has been playing golf since she was 6, which is before she was able to ski. In 2000, Pettersen turned professional and has been golfing in the LPGA since 2003.


Lexi Thompson
